MD - DOCTOR FOR MEDICINE ( 4.5 YEARS )

This course is divided into four phases, which is derived its system from the American Medical Education System.

The following is the Programme structure:

Phase 1: 2 semesters (Not required for Indian students who have scored above 70% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology)

Phase 2: 2 semesters - CMed

Phase 3: 5 semesters - Pre-Clinical

Phase 4: 6 semesters - Clinical Rotation

Duration of each semester would be 4 months.

CAMPUS SELECTION

All students are required to study the first 3 phases of the course such as, Foundation, CMed and Pre-Clinical in St. Lucia campus. After the successful completion of the above, students are required to do 2 years of Clinical Rotation in the affiliated hospitals in the United States or the Caribbean countries, based on the individual student's interest and affordability.

OPTIONS TO PURSUE CLINICAL ELECTIVES IN INDIA

Students have the option to pursue Clinical electives in India for two semesters. But the core clinical has to be done in one of the affiliated hospitals in the United States or the Caribbean countries.
